Here is the my list of most-used inclement weather links.
Electrical Power
Entergy
- If there's a pick list, choose Arkansas.
- Entergy serves the rural areas surrounding the City of Prescott, Rosston, Willisville and Bluff City areas.
- Prescott purchases power from SWEPCO, but pulls it from the Entergy substation in Prescott, so if the areas surrounding Prescott are down, so is the city.
SouthCentral Electric Coop
- Serves much of rural Nevada County.
SWEPCO
- Serves areas west and northwest of Nevada County.
- Prescott purchases power from them, but delivery is via Entergy's lines.
Weather Conditions
WunderMap
- Select "Radar" under "Atmospheric Conditions". Other options are desired.
- Notice that "Past" and "Future" are separate options on this map.
iDriveArkansas
- Road conditions are indicated by color.
- Choose the camera icon then check "Traffic".
- Move the map down to the Prescott area.
- Cameras are at Prescott exits 44 and 46.
- To the east, cameras include one at the Little Missouri River (mile 53) and another at Okolona exit 54.
- To the west, cameras include one at Hope exit 31, one near the Fulton exit 18 and one at the Red River.
